Our Services

SpinOps provides:

People Operations consulting services
Digital products and templates (sold through Gumroad)
Strategic HR and workplace culture advice

Each consulting project is governed by a separate agreement that outlines specific deliverables, timelines, and fees.

Using Our Website

Acceptable Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. Don't:

Try to hack, disrupt, or overload our site
Scrape content without permission
Misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with us
Use our content to compete directly with us

Intellectual Property

Original content on this site (text, our methodologies, custom designs) belongs to SpinOps Limited unless otherwise noted. Some images are licensed from third parties (including GoDaddy's media library). You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without our written permission.

Exception: Templates and digital products you purchase come with their own licence terms specified at point of sale.

Booking Meetings

When you book a free consultation through our Google Calendar link:

You're booking time with a real human - please show up or cancel in advance
These are introductory meetings to discuss potential projects
Booking a meeting doesn't guarantee we'll work together
We reserve the right to decline projects that aren't a good fit

Digital Products

Digital products are sold through Gumroad, subject to their terms of service. Generally:

Sales are final (no refunds) unless the product is fundamentally broken
Products are licensed for your company's internal use only
You can't resell or redistribute our products
We don't guarantee specific results from using our templates

Consulting Services

How It Works

All consulting work requires a signed agreement
We offer flexible engagement models (project-based, retainer, daily rate, etc.)
Payment terms are net 30 unless otherwise agreed
We maintain confidentiality of your business information

What We Don't Guarantee

Specific business outcomes
That our advice will suit every situation
Legal or financial advice (we're People Ops experts, not lawyers or accountants)

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate information
Make timely decisions and provide feedback
Pay invoices on time
Not share our proprietary methodologies with competitors

Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us
We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or speculative damages
We're not responsible for your business decisions based on our advice
These limitations apply even if we knew damages were possible

This doesn't limit liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Other liabilities that can't be excluded under UK law

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify SpinOps against claims arising from:

Your breach of these terms
Your use of our services or products
Your business decisions and their outcomes

Privacy

Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy. The short version: we collect minimal data and don't sell it.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You may stop using our services at any time.

Disputes

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Resolution Process

First, let's talk - most issues can be resolved with a conversation
If that doesn't work, we'll try mediation
As a last resort, disputes go to the courts of England and Wales

General Terms

Entire Agreement

These terms (plus any signed consulting agreement) are the entire agreement between us.

Severability

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains valid.

No Waiver

If we don't enforce a right immediately, we haven't waived it.

Assignment

You can't transfer these terms to someone else. We can, as part of a business sale.

Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delays due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (pandemic, anyone?).

Updates to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll post changes here - check the date at the top.
